Enhancement and improvement of the infrastructure as it relates to both the physical plant and advanced technological capability together with attracting and retaining highly competent and skilled teachers.
This strategy is geared toward raising the current standards of performance at each level, thereby increasing the School’s ranking to within the top ten (10). Expansion of its services to provide a private sixth form facility to accommodate the number of students who matriculate but for whom, there is no capacity in the current government supported arrangement.
Additionally vocational training would be offered to other students at that level, who have such a preference or did not attain all of the requisite qualifications for sixth form.
My role at Alpha is primarily to provide leadership and to oversee implementation of School Regulations and Policies set by the Government (Ministry of Education-MOE), Sisters of Mercy (Sponsors of the School), Board of Governors, and ensure that administrative practices conform to the regulatory machinery established for public schools.
A secondary role but of equal importance is to maintain a framework that promotes, fosters and engenders positive outcomes, a spirit of camaraderie among all stakeholders and overall cordial and mutually respectful interpersonal relationships.
